Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 62-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Tabor upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Spartans host West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-5. West Cabarrus lost 52-30 in their recent non-league bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 39-35 non-league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
