The North Lenoir Hawks topped the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 43-24 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 17. North Lenoir will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 72-30 non-league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC).
With the defeat, South Lenoir moves to 6-3 on the year. The Blue devils travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 18. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-5. East Duplin won 55-53 in their recent non-league game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)
