The Park Crossing Thunderbirds basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Pike Road Patriots to 36 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell County for a contest on Tuesday, January 17.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Russell County (Seale, AL). The Warriors come into the contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Russell County edged Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL), 37-33, in a league contest.
