The Spartans now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cuthbertson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Sun Valley will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-6.

The Pirates (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Piedmont dropped by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 64-32, in a non-league battle.
