Virginia High School Basketball - Rappahannock ripped by Westmoreland

The Westmoreland Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Rappahannock Raiders to 22 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colonial Beach for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Westmoreland will battle a Drifters team coming off a 63-16 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Drifters record now stands at 0-4.
The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Essex was routed by Northumberland (Heathsville, VA), 40-23, in a non-league contest.
