South Walton Seahawks (Santa Rosa Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL), 47-13 in a league bout.

With the win, South Walton upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Fort Walton Beach won 48-26 in their recent non-league bout against Navarre (Navarre, FL)

Next up, the Braves play the Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Walton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
