The Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) basketball crushed the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 77-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Redbirds (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Jacksonville walloped Rochester (Rochester, IL), 61-51, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Red Bud for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 17. Waterloo will encounter a Musketeers squad coming off a 55-45 league win over Okawville (Okawville, IL). The Musketeers record now stands at 12-6.
