Florida High School Basketball - Baker County over Union County

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL) and the host Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), saw Baker County's basketball squad overcome Union County by a tally of 62-54.

With the victory, Baker County improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bradford (Starke, FL) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Bradford lost 76-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, FL)

Next up, the Fightin' Tigers confront the Interlachen Rams (Interlachen, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Union County will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 43-37 non-league win over Crescent City (Crescent City, FL).
