Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Bergen Bruins (North Bergen, NJ), 65-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Bayonne upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bees travel to Eastside (Paterson, NJ) to clash with the Ghosts in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Ghosts go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Eastside lost 48-46 in their recent non-league challenge against East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ)

Next up, the Bruins confront the Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ) in a Hudson County - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. North Bergen will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to American Christian School (Wharton, NJ).
