Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL), 73-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Glenbard North lost 55-39 in their recent league bout against Batavia (Batavia, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Caxys come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 62-57 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL).
