Illinois High School Basketball - Wheeling overwhelmed by Buffalo Grove

The Buffalo Grove Bison basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 40 in the Bison league victory on Saturday.

The Bison now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hersey for a Mid-Suburban - East contest on Thursday, January 18. Buffalo Grove will battle a Huskies team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 10-10.

The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons come into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Schaumburg was routed by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 43-17, in a league contest.
