In Saturday's league outing, the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks (Ellettsville, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Cannelton Bulldogs (Cannelton, IN), by a margin of 53-29.

The Firehawks (1-11) will now prepare for their outing against Columbus Christian (Columbus, IN). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Columbus Christian was trounced by Traders Point Christian (Whitestown, IN), 53-46, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Washington Catholic for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. Cannelton will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 81-27 league loss to Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-12.
