The Cate Rams basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Carpinteria Warriors to 34 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rams now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunn for a Tri-Valley contest on Wednesday, January 17. Cate will battle a Earwigs team coming off a 76-73 non-league loss to Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Earwigs record now stands at 8-8.

The Warriors (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Rangers enter the Citrus Coast contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Nordhoff was nudged by Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA), 73-39, in a league contest.
