Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Ramblers host Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID) to play the Titans in a 1A II Long Pin bout on Saturday, January 20. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) in a 1A II Long Pin bout, on Thursday, January 18. Council will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 71-42 league loss to Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID).
