Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) and the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), saw Ware County's basketball squad overcome Coffee by a tally of 63-49.

With the victory, Ware County improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Jenkins (Savannah, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Jenkins lost 66-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Laney (Augusta, GA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Coffee will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 71-50 league loss to Clinch County (Homerville, GA).
