The Deerfield Warriors routed the host Lakes Eagles basketball team by a final score of 51-28 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a Central Suburban - South battle, on Friday, January 19. Deerfield will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Mundelein was routed by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 64-46, in a league battle.
