Georgia High School Basketball - Deerfield-Windsor knocked off by John Milledge Academy

The John Milledge Academy Trojans basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights to 31 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 16. John Milledge Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 83-50 league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.

The Knights (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Warriors enter the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Brookwood ran past Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA), 61-51, in a league contest.
