Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR), 66-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host St. Mary's (Medford, OR) to play the Crusaders in a 3A Far West bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 6-7. St. Mary's lost 84-47 in their recent league bout against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a 3A Far West bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Sutherlin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Chieftains come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 60-21 league loss to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR).
