Mississippi High School Basketball - Gentry overwhelmed by Edwards

The Edwards Tigers basketball squad scored 73 points and limited the visiting Gentry Rams to 47 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
With the win, Edwards upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lanier (Jackson, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Lanier won 61-46 in their recent league bout against Richland (Richland, MS)
Next up, the Rams play the Greenville Hornets (Greenville, MS) in a 5A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Gentry will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 67-33 league loss to Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS).
