Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 60-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Morton upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS) to play the Tigers in a 4A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 16-3.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) in a 4A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
