The North Forsyth Raiders basketball team (Cumming, GA), was nudged 62-60 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA)
The Raiders now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier for a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Habersham Central will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-10.
The Raiders (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Wildcats come into the AAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Apalachee was nudged by Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA), 78-45, in a league battle.
