The Hempstead Tigers (Hempstead, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Massapequa Chiefs (Massapequa, NY), 64-55 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Hicksville (Hicksville, NY). The Comets go into the Section 8 AA-1 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Hicksville went down by Freeport (Freeport, NY), 79-39, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a Section 8 AA-1 test on Saturday, January 27.
