In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lafayette Commodores basketball team scored a good 73-57 triumph over the Regents Lions.
In their next game, the Commodores meet the Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) in a 5A Region 1 match, on Friday, January 19. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record.
With the defeat, Regents moves to 1-3 on the year.
