The Utica Redskins basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Lakewood Lancers to 54 in the Redskins league triumph on Saturday.

The Redskins now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark Catholic for a Licking County - Cardinal contest on Tuesday, January 16. Utica will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 70-44 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-9.

The Lancers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings enter the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Northridge was defeated by Maysville (Zanesville, OH), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
