Rutherford Rams (Panama City, FL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Leon Lions (Tallahassee, FL), 68-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rutherford upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Niceville (Niceville, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Niceville lost 40-32 in their recent non-league bout against South Walton (Santa Rosa Beach, FL)

Next up, the Lions play the Mosley Dolphins (Lynn Haven, FL) in a 6A District 2 bout, on Monday, January 15. Leon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Dolphins come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 58-53 non-league win over Bay (Panama City, FL).
