The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm basketball team (Sauk Rapids, MN), was nudged 105-103 in Saturday's league battle with the host Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN)

The Spuds now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jamestown for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16.

The Storm (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (St. Cloud, MN). The Eagles come into the AAA Section 8 battle with a 2-10 record.
