Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East can't hold off Plainfield North

The Plainfield North Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Plainfield East Bengals to 69 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Central for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Friday, January 19.

The Bengals (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers enter the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 1-14 record.
