The Silver Stage Nighthawks basketball team (Silver Springs, NV), was overwhelmed 68-32 in Saturday's league battle with the host Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV)

The Lions now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oasis Academy for a 2A Northern battle on Tuesday, January 16. Yerington will confront a Bighorns team coming off a 45-20 league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Bighorns record now stands at 6-9.

The Nighthawks (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons come into the 2A Northern battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was overwhelmed by Pershing County (Lovelock, NV), 61-22, in a league battle.
