El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), 59-53 in a league bout.

With the win, El Camino upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA) to clash with the Bobcats in a bout on Saturday, January 20. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Sage Creek lost 87-39 in their recent league bout against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 20. Carlsbad will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 56-46 league win over San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA).
