The Mavericks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlsbad for a battle on Saturday, January 20. La Costa Canyon will battle a Lancers team coming off a 59-53 league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-8.

The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons come into the battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Torrey Pines prevailed over St. Augustine (San Diego, CA), 63-50, in a non-league battle.
