The Bayonne Bees basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting North Bergen Bruins to 20 in the Bees league triumph on Saturday.
The Bees now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Teaneck for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Bayonne will meet a Highwaymen team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 12-2.
The Bruins (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ). The Lions enter the Hudson County - American contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Lincoln was routed by Passaic (Passaic, NJ), 55-29, in a non-league contest.
