The Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA) basketball knocked off the host Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA), 34-18 in Saturday's league test.
The Cardinals (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA). The Dragons go into the Tri-Valley test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Foothill Tech notched a victory over Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA), 46-26, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Clara for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Cate will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 30-24 non-league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Saints record now stands at 2-20.
