The Somerville Pioneers basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Bound Brook Crusaders to 28 in the Pioneers league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timothy Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Somerville will battle a team coming off a 61-31 league win over Middlesex County Vo-Tech (Woodbridge, NJ). The record now stands at 6-2.

The Crusaders (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Piscataway was defeated by Princeton (Princeton, NJ), 62-56, in a non-league contest.
