Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX), 66-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Trinity (Midland, TX) to play the Chargers in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Trinity lost 45-9 in their recent league bout against Calvary Academy (Denton, TX)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Fellowship Academy Mustangs (Kennedale, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout, on Friday, January 19. Covenant Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
