The John Milledge Academy Trojans tipped the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights basketball team by a final score of 37-34 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 game, on Tuesday, January 16. John Milledge Academy will attempt to move on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 8-7 record after their 43-30 league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA).
With the defeat, Deerfield-Windsor moves to 10-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Brookwood (Thomasville, GA) to face the Warriors in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 game on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 11-1.
