The East Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Phoenixville Phantoms to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont - National contest on Tuesday, January 16. East will meet a Cougars team coming off a 46-33 non-league win over Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
The Phantoms (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Indians enter the Pioneer contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Upper Perkiomen ran past Pottstown (Pottstown, PA), 44-27, in a league contest.
