The Griswold Grizzlies basketball team (Helix, OR), was overwhelmed 53-32 in Saturday's league battle with the host Echo Cougars (Echo, OR)
The Cougars now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Friday, January 19. Echo will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Stanfield (Stanfield, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-4.
The Grizzlies (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR). The Rockets come into the 1A Old Oregon battle with a 4-7 record.
