In their next game, the Rebels face the Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 15. Fannin County will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 14-1 record after their 56-24 non-league win over Furtah Prep (Acworth, GA).

With the defeat, Union County moves to 10-8 on the year. The Panthers host Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA) to face the Paladins in a AA Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 16. The Paladins enter the game with a record of 10-4. Fellowship Christian lost 67-36 in their recent league game against Banks County (Homer, GA)
