The Hampton Bulldogs routed the visiting Johnson County Longhorns basketball team by a final score of 68-23 in Saturday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN) in a 2A District 1 game, on Tuesday, January 16. Hampton will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Buffaloes enter the game with a 5-8 record after their 50-43 non-league win over Cherokee (Rogersville, TN).
With the defeat, Johnson County moves to 5-11 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN) to face the Warriors in a 2A District 1 game on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 4-6.
