In Saturday's league match, the host Wells Leopards basketball team scored a decisive 54-30 triumph over the Lund Mustangs.
In their next game, the Leopards face the Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV) in a 1A East match, on Tuesday, January 16. Wells will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
With the defeat, Lund moves to 3-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Eureka (Eureka, NV) to face the Vandals in a 1A East match on Wednesday, January 17. The Vandals enter the match with a record of 11-1. Eureka won 49-20 in their recent league match against Wells (Wells, NV)
