The Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Medford Tigers to 19 in the Titans league triumph on Saturday.
The Titans now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a AA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] will meet a Raiders team coming off a 58-53 league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-9.
The Tigers (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Maple River triumphed over Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND), 66-54, in a non-league contest.
