Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Medora Hornets (Medora, IN), 62-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Shawe Memorial upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to New Washington (New Washington, IN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-12. New Washington lost 47-44 in their recent non-league bout against Providence (Clarksville, IN)

Next up, the Hornets play the Crothersville Tigers (Crothersville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Medora will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 42-29 non-league win over Dugger Union (Dugger, IN).
