Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) and the host Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT), saw Rutland's basketball squad wallop Otter Valley by a count of 71-8.

With the victory, Rutland upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT) to play the Slaters in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Slaters come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Fair Haven won 41-34 in their recent non-league challenge against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)

Next up, the Otters play the Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Otter Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
