The Wallowa Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Pine Eagle Spartans to 43 in the Cougars league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilot Rock for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Tuesday, January 16. Wallowa will battle a Rockets team coming off a 57-28 league loss to Union (Union, OR). The Rockets record now stands at 4-7.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon bout, on Friday, January 19. Pine Eagle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
