The Valley Cavaliers crushed the host Piscataquis Pirates basketball squad by a margin of 68-39 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME). The Tigers go into the D South test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Forest Hills walloped Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME), 54-13, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bucksport for a C North test on Wednesday, January 17. Piscataquis will encounter a Golden Bucks squad coming off a 46-22 non-league win over Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 7-3.
