The Union Farmers basketball team (Union, NJ), dropped 64-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ)
The Cardinals now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 14. Plainfield will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 84-13 non-league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Phoenix record now stands at 10-1.
The Farmers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Linden (Linden, NJ). The Tigers come into the Union County - Valley battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Linden dropped by Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 53-48, in a non-league battle.
