Ohio High School Basketball - Sandy Valley can't hold off Ridgewood

The Ridgewood Generals basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Sandy Valley Cardinals to 55 in the Generals league victory on Saturday.
The Generals now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newcomerstown for a Inter-Valley contest on Thursday, January 18. Ridgewood will battle a Trojans team coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Toronto (Toronto, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-14.
The Cardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Aquinas edged Southeast (Ravenna, OH), 47-46, in a league contest.
