The Thompson Warriors basketball team (Alabaster, AL), was overwhelmed 65-34 in Saturday's league battle with the host Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL)
The Rebels now possess a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscaloosa County for a 7A Area 5 battle on Friday, January 19. Vestavia Hills will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 66-46 league loss to Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-9.
The Warriors (13-12) will now prepare for their battle against Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Thundering Herd come into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Parker was overwhelmed by Homewood (Homewood, AL), 59-55, in a league battle.
