The Willard Crimson Flashes basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Vermilion Sailors to 35 in the Crimson Flashes league triumph on Saturday.
The Crimson Flashes now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Village for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Willard will meet a Patriots team coming off a 52-32 league win over Dixie (New Lebanon, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 12-1.
The Sailors (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Bay nudged North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH), 42-39, in a league contest.
