Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Northside Panthers (Houston, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 19 challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Austin will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

The Panthers now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carnegie Vanguard for a 5A Region 3 District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Northside will confront a Rhinos team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Rhinos record now stands at 0-1.
